Assignment 16: The Journey

The cold breeze shouts to be awaken. I ponder on how I got to this place. As I open my eyes I see the little bit of smoke made be the all burnt out firewood in the fireplace. The fireplace was made out of red bricks and the fireplace was filled of ashes, aperently it had been used many times. The floor was made up wood tiles, not carpet ; no wonder it was a little more cold than if a carpet was in place of the wood tile. I got up and I see what is was dressed in. I was in my worn out jeans and my white vans with a turquois shirt and a navy blue sweater that a dear friend once bought for me. This home or whatever it was sort of a little weird, well a little different than what I was use to seeing, I believe it was a cabin. A cabin made completely out of bricks, the walls were made from brick so was the ceilings. The doors were white and a gold knob and a gold locksmith on each one.
As I explore this cabin I discovered it had the three bedrooms. The first bedroom I saw was the master bedroom. This bedroom had king size bed with everything in the room matching their brown and baby blue confoters. As you enter the room all the way to the left is the white door to the restroom. The restroom walls were black and red. It was very clean and white I must say.
The other rooms were simple but one in paticular was messy, but somebody had made a mess of that room from all the toys their was. Their wear toy trucks flipped over and on the right side of the room their was a children’s table with a white tablecloth. Along with the able there was four chairs. Three chairs were occupied by stuffed animals. And on the table cloth there was a china tea set.
When I walked into the kitchen I noticed there was no mess at all. Where the sink was located on the wall there was a white window with a little table thing and on it was some beautiful plants. Unfortunately I do not know the name. it just had beautiful bright colors.
When i opened the door it seemed to be as if i was walking straight out towards a dock. The dock seemed to be a quarter to a mile long. there were signs of boats being their but there was none that i can see at that moment. The sand was very soft. I ran towards the big waves. the water was fresh and it was a beautiful clear blue color. it was wonderful i didn't want to leave. i sat on the big black/gray rocks and i admired the beautiful creatures enjoying the water known as their home. The dolphins jumped in and out of the water. They were doing a show as if they knew i was watching them.
I liked this place but it was time to go home but I had no idea on how to make that possible. i guess this will be my home for a while, i just home somebody will come to join me.

Assignment #18: My Poem

Beautiful first baby, was a cry baby at times but because she was spoiled
not spoiled by the dad she never knew but by her grandma she lost at the age of 4
childhood is just sort of a blur to her but she does remember the nights she cried herself to
sleep, missing her mother while her mother was serving this country.
day by day she became more and more confused, the man taking her birth dad's place in her life
was always so nice to her,but she always had in her mind"why is this man trying to win my love over
with all these things but then this man known as dad and husband making the ones i love feel unhappy
and unloved." Always trying to find the way out of her depression but wasn't able to do many things
with her friends, she found a window which she thought it would lead her to forget her problems but it
actually just lead her to having a "position of narcotics" in her record at the age of 12. going through the
years she always put her sadness and depression to the back of her mind and at the very bottom of her
heart as if it was never there. little by little it started overflowing, she was finding herself more and more
lost and abanded ever time she took a step foward. she eventually found herself lost and as if she was
drowning, she did not know what way to turn. The memory of the pretty baby drinking from a bottle
was tainted from the picture of a pretty sweet young lady drinking from a tequila bottle that would
appear in the mothers mind as she could smell alcohol coming from her daughter.the girl trying to take
her life away never realized she wasn't harming herself but her mother and her younger brother and
young sister that really looked up to her.Trying to change her life around she is still having trouble to
get things the way they should be but still hurts from the fact that people judge her from things that
happened in the past. she is still lost in this world but very determined to get her life
straight and finally be happy even if she is alone with nobody by her side. she is thankful for what others
have done for her specially her mother, but she does understand that the pain she caused her
mother will never be forgiven even if she is ashamed of it.
It hurts but she will never show, its pain no one will ever know nor understand.

Assignment#15 Multiple intelligence essay

bible.jpg
Once upon a time there was a couple who was able to have only one child, which was a boy. The couple spoiled this child with love and everything he pleased. He was an academic child. He had very good grades all throughout his years of being in school. The year of being a senior finally came. The son asked his father one day for a car of the day of his graduation. His words were “Dad I believe I deserve a car for graduation. I have always had good grades.” The day of graduation the father called him into his library/office. He said “Son here is your present, but close your eyes and extend your hands out.” The boy did as his father said. The boy was anxious to feel the keys in his hands but suddenly he felt something with a bit of weight and rectangular in his hands. So he opened his eyes he saw it was a bible. As his father was saying congratulations the boy stared yelling at his father saying “All the money you have and you give me this?” The boy left furiously and slammed the door behind him. A year passes by with the boy having no communication what so ever with his father. Finally the day came, his father had passed away. After the funeral the boy went to his fathers home and went into his father’s library/office. The boy went through his fathers belongings as he came upon the same bible that his father gave him and he through it. As he picked it up he noticed there was something different of this bible, something he hadn’t noticed in any other bible. When he opened it he noticed there was a little compartment in it. And in that compartment was the keys of the brand new car the son had asked for, with a little note saying “Congratulations son you have came a long way. The keys are for the car that will drive you in the city and take you to places, and the bible is to get you through life and take you to places you’d like to be in your life.

Assignment #9: Alien Contact

One summer evening as I was walking from the park in return to my house I encountered this young guy of my age with a weird looking hat. As I was walking past him i stopped by to greet him. "Hello there human girl' he responded. My sister and i giggled and just kept on our way home. When we arrived we told our mother of our little encounter with this guy that we had thought he was weird. Our mother encouraged us to be polite and welcome him to the block. Her words were as said "You should both talk to him, he must be new to this part of town and must feel out of place". We knew that if we did not do as mother said we would have to do it with her taking us by the hand. Who would want to do that? Besides the guys was not that bad looking.
The next day on our way to the park we stopped by our new neighbor's house to invite him to the park with us so we could get to know him better. He must have been really bored because he accepted imidiately. We sat at a picnic table trying to make conversation with him for a little over an hour. When it came to be sunset he said he was sorry but he had to leave, and as he did he said he left in such a dash. He seemed to have this speed of a sports car within seconds.
When we got home we told our mother all the information he had given us such as where he was from and such things like that. He told us he was from England and his name was Oliver, he was 15years of age but seemed to be 18years. What had left us pondering was how fast he was able to run.
The whole month we spent accompanied by Oliver. It has seemed to us that England was really behind in many things because we taught Oliver everything there is to be and American. The sports we played them all the foods we tasted all. We had became best of friends. It was a little odd though that he never seemed to have interest in other young girls even if he did attract all of them, and he was never able to be out after dark we had guessed his parents were just really strict with that. We met his parents there was something odd with them too but we hadn't been able to figure out what it was exactly. They never accepted our invites to dinner nor did they never invite us.
One day we had gone to knock on the door but as we walked closer to the door we noticed it was open. We walked in but the house was empty. Out of the corner of my eye i had noticed something. It was a letter from Oliver. It stated
"Dear crystal and angelica, I greatly appreciate your warm welcome to my presence here in Albuquerque. Though i am very sorry for not being truthful towards you. My name is Oliver I am a teenager but not exactly a teenage boy more like a teenage alien boy from outer space not England. I Love the way you humans live but i had to go back to my planet. Earth was in danger if i and my parents did not return back. You two were great human friends. I am going to miss playing what you two called soccer. I was always afraid of you finding out the truth and disliking me. During sunset i hid from you both because i turn into my natural alien form at night. I thank you for everything friends.
PS: I may go back and visit soon....i will also try to get in touch with you both in some way.

Assignment 11: The Concrete Rose

Tupac shakur 's poem has some very strong powerful words. He talks about how him doing something positive of his life, was no help to others. Everybody thinks that for in order for a flower to grow their must be soil. But in tupac's case tupac's mother was not able to live for long to plant that soil in him. The concrete being nothing and the crack is a opening  an oppertunity to become somebody just as he did. Nobody believes in a young person specially coming from the ghetto. Tupac's desire and derive to become somebody he did it on his own with out anybodies help. Everybody can take a piece of this well written wisdom and apply it to their life.
Tupac was a gangster. Many people saw him as a bad influence to others and children. I guess that's a natural thing to do; blame artists and television for what the parents should be blamed for. For example when a kid would end up shooting somebody they would say oh they must listen to tupac and big e (rappers). Many people blame many things on everything else when it is a negative outcome. When rappers do speak of what they believe in or how they got to be successful people dont think of that being an influence but it is. Those strong words said in that poem help bring many children's selfasteem up and the passion to do something good begins to grow in their hearts and mind.
Most of rappers dont just rap about girls and killing. Their are some songs that do rap about to never lose hope and become what ever you want of life. Society turns their back on many people from the ghetto. They never stop to think that many people are there in the because there parents brought them up there and their parents made them grow up there. It is just a chain and it takes a little bit of hope to break it. But how is that possible if not one person believes in you. When those that are in the ghetto able to get out and do something of their life society just acts if they help them but those that cant get out of that way of living they just look and treat them as they were stray dogs in the street.
Tupac has influenced many of us but in a way telling us to never lose hope nor faith because thats all we need in life to do something good. Though his soul may rest in peace; Tupac's legend and music is still alive and will be living for a very long time. Just as tupac influenced many of us so has many idols have to. Included in that is our very own President Obama. Never lose hope nor faith because it helps you find the derive to make something impossible possible. No matter where anybodies from we all need a little of motivation to keep on going. It is important to keep you head up, get back up when on the ground and just brush off the dirt because the path is still there and it is time for you to take control of it and make it go in your favor.

Assignment #10: Bullying

You can find bullies all over this world. It has been going on since the first English man owned the very first slave. Many do it because it makes them feel better about their own lives. All the children i think have been bullied once or twice in their life time. Not necessarily been pushed around but been brought down by words or have been humiliated. Everybody gets bullied for many reasons like if you're poor, you have a very different sense of style, you talk different, your skin color is not like the others, your race or religion is not like the bully. Both genders boys and girls get bullied or also both genders become bullies.
Many are bullies to feel good about how they are. Many are unhappy children and that is why they treat others as they feel. Though it is not the correct thing to do they tend to take their anger out on the victims repeated times if they see they are defenseless? Many don't care about the victim is feeling nor how he or she is affected by it. The bully just gets this sickening pleasure from the pain they bring upon the victims without showing any bit of remorse. The bully never stops to think What if it was me the one being bullied and what if it was me with all that pain.
The families of the victims are affected by it because who would like to see their child hurt that way? Some families go somewhat through the pain the victim goes through because they see the pain and they also feel defenseless. Many don't lose hope and they just think the bully will get tired of torturing the victim and finally get bored but many don't and that's when something tragic happens. Many families lose their family members because they did not want to face the fact that that was something actually going on.
The victim goes through the most pain of course because he or she doesn't just get pushed around they get called names by many children given by the bully. Many victims get sexually abused some way. Most of the victims commit suicide thinking that is the only way out. Many authorities tend to just ignore the fact that that is happening in that school. Many victims run away from home to get away from that. Many victims also move school districts to feel safer. One of the bad things going on right now is since technology is so popular now everybody spreads rumors or even pictures through the internet humiliating the victims even more. The worst thing about being bullied is that the victims can get P.T.S.D., because they do have to live with it all their life.
Being bullied is not the best thing to have happened to anyone. If in need of help always seek help in any way you can. Life is too beautiful to be taken away by yourself just because kids are too immature. If you are bulling others just put yourself in their shoes and try to feel a little bit of what you are doing to them. Get into sports and get all that anger out of your system. Love yourself and except others for who they are.
