Assignment 16: The Journey

The cold breeze shouts to be awaken. I ponder on how I got to this place. As I open my eyes I see the little bit of smoke made be the all burnt out firewood in the fireplace. The fireplace was made out of red bricks and the fireplace was filled of ashes, aperently it had been used many times. The floor was made up wood tiles, not carpet ; no wonder it was a little more cold than if a carpet was in place of the wood tile. I got up and I see what is was dressed in. I was in my worn out jeans and my white vans with a turquois shirt and a navy blue sweater that a dear friend once bought for me. This home or whatever it was sort of a little weird, well a little different than what I was use to seeing, I believe it was a cabin. A cabin made completely out of bricks, the walls were made from brick so was the ceilings. The doors were white and a gold knob and a gold locksmith on each one.
As I explore this cabin I discovered it had the three bedrooms. The first bedroom I saw was the master bedroom. This bedroom had king size bed with everything in the room matching their brown and baby blue confoters. As you enter the room all the way to the left is the white door to the restroom. The restroom walls were black and red. It was very clean and white I must say.
The other rooms were simple but one in paticular was messy, but somebody had made a mess of that room from all the toys their was. Their wear toy trucks flipped over and on the right side of the room their was a children’s table with a white tablecloth. Along with the able there was four chairs. Three chairs were occupied by stuffed animals. And on the table cloth there was a china tea set.
When I walked into the kitchen I noticed there was no mess at all. Where the sink was located on the wall there was a white window with a little table thing and on it was some beautiful plants. Unfortunately I do not know the name. it just had beautiful bright colors.
When i opened the door it seemed to be as if i was walking straight out towards a dock. The dock seemed to be a quarter to a mile long. there were signs of boats being their but there was none that i can see at that moment. The sand was very soft. I ran towards the big waves. the water was fresh and it was a beautiful clear blue color. it was wonderful i didn't want to leave. i sat on the big black/gray rocks and i admired the beautiful creatures enjoying the water known as their home. The dolphins jumped in and out of the water. They were doing a show as if they knew i was watching them.
I liked this place but it was time to go home but I had no idea on how to make that possible. i guess this will be my home for a while, i just home somebody will come to join me.

Assignment #18: My Poem

Beautiful first baby, was a cry baby at times but because she was spoiled
not spoiled by the dad she never knew but by her grandma she lost at the age of 4
childhood is just sort of a blur to her but she does remember the nights she cried herself to
sleep, missing her mother while her mother was serving this country.
day by day she became more and more confused, the man taking her birth dad's place in her life
was always so nice to her,but she always had in her mind"why is this man trying to win my love over
with all these things but then this man known as dad and husband making the ones i love feel unhappy
and unloved." Always trying to find the way out of her depression but wasn't able to do many things
with her friends, she found a window which she thought it would lead her to forget her problems but it
actually just lead her to having a "position of narcotics" in her record at the age of 12. going through the
years she always put her sadness and depression to the back of her mind and at the very bottom of her
heart as if it was never there. little by little it started overflowing, she was finding herself more and more
lost and abanded ever time she took a step foward. she eventually found herself lost and as if she was
drowning, she did not know what way to turn. The memory of the pretty baby drinking from a bottle
was tainted from the picture of a pretty sweet young lady drinking from a tequila bottle that would
appear in the mothers mind as she could smell alcohol coming from her daughter.the girl trying to take
her life away never realized she wasn't harming herself but her mother and her younger brother and
young sister that really looked up to her.Trying to change her life around she is still having trouble to
get things the way they should be but still hurts from the fact that people judge her from things that
happened in the past. she is still lost in this world but very determined to get her life
straight and finally be happy even if she is alone with nobody by her side. she is thankful for what others
have done for her specially her mother, but she does understand that the pain she caused her
mother will never be forgiven even if she is ashamed of it.
It hurts but she will never show, its pain no one will ever know nor understand.
